TRUMP SURVIVAL KIT FOR KIDS

Home / TRUMP SURVIVAL KIT FOR KIDS

Many adults weren’t the only ones upset with this year’s President elect Donald Trump, kids were too! But kids weren’t receiving the education that followed the political process, and therefore were confused and a bit scared. Based on the top concerns kids’ have, I created a kit that is funny but also teaches a bit of politics.

Your child will need the following things to survive the next four years:1. Bottle of SPF 70– According to Trump, Global warming is a hoax, and what’s happening in the world is just plain old ‘weather.’ He’s definitely no Scientist, but the world we live in is definitely changing, and he doesn’t plan to do anything during his four-year term. But because of the Ozone layers being depleted (https://www.epa.gov/ozone-layer-protection/health-and-environmental-effects-ozone-layer-depletion), your child will definitely need to always wear sunblock.

2. 114-billion-dollar check– Next time someone comes up to your child, and bullies him/her saying their family will get deported because that’s what Trump wants to do, have your child pull out their $ 114-billion-dollar Monster Mas check. Then they can say, “this is how much trump needs to deport the 11.3 million immigrants in the United States. There’s no possible way the government will fund this initiative. I have the money, but I’m not signing it over to Trump.” If students don’t know what’s going on in this area of government, they will surely have a better concept of what Trump can’t do while he is president, and will put their minds at ease. And this statement will definitely stump the verbal attacker, leaving him/her defenseless.

3. Picture album of Trump with some of his multicultural employees and friends– If students start to throw racial slurs around, as they have been doing, they can pull out their Trump Photo Album from their phones, and tell other students, “Trump works with all different cultures, and has friends from different races. Just look at these photos. He’s a business man and would not want to do anything to scare away business opportunities.” We may hall have different opinions on the matter, but ultimately, we don’t want kids to start acting racist towards each other, and especially at school, where bullying still exists. We need to reinforce that Trump is not a racist because if he was then he wouldn’t work or be friends with people from different nationalities or races.

4. 1,460 days to the termination of Trumps Presidency chart: Let children know that most of the things Trump has mentioned that he would do while president, takes time, and may very well not go through within his 4 years as president. Use the Obamacare example, and talk about how it flopped in the beginning because the government was working out the kinks, then mention that if he didn’t have the second term, it may have not gotten this far.

The visual chart can be a poster board or sheets of paper with tally marks that can be added daily. Plus, add, he might not make it to the end, because he may do something that may get him impeached, especially if he keeps trying to mix his ‘Business with his Presidential duties.’

What’s important now is you educate your children on what’s happening in politics locally, and start working up the ladder. You never know, you can be raising a future politician that really cares about people, the environment, and a brighter future for all. And one day they can be even running for President! It’s like Lotto, ‘You Never know.’
